Good for cancer insurance

I used Medical Travel Compared to find cancer travel insurance for my trip to Spain. The process of declaring my condition was straightforward, they asked all the right questions without making it overly complicated. I got several quotes pretty quickly from different providers, which was helpful. I ended up picking one that suited my needs and the price was decent for the coverage. The policy documents arrived in my email within minutes of purchasing. I didn't need to contact support, thankfully, so can't comment there, but the website itself was easy to navigate. Overall, it took the stress out of finding suitable insurance.

Decent comparison for seniors

I was looking for over 70s travel insurance and used this site. It definitely made comparing policies easier than going to individual insurer websites. I declared my arthritis and the system handled it well, bringing up relevant policies. I found a suitable option and the price seemed fair for the coverage. My main gripe is that while it compares many providers, I still felt like I had to read through quite a bit of small print on each quote to truly understand the differences. A clearer side-by-side feature for the main benefits would be an improvement. But overall, a good service for finding specialist cover.

Hey, I'm trying to get a quote but I've got a couple of different conditions, high blood pressure and some joint issues. Will they actually cover all of that?

M Matt Davis 6 days ago
Yeah, they're supposed to be good with pre-existing stuff. Like, that's their whole thing. Just make sure you declare everything super clearly.

My nan has a few things, like diabetes and a heart condition, and she's always found policies through them. They'll ask you to list everything when you do the quote.

Anyone know if there's any active discount codes for this site right now? Trying to save a few quid on my multi-trip policy.

E Eric Campbell 1 month ago
I've rarely seen actual codes for the comparison site itself, usually the deals are built into the quotes from the insurers they show you.

Check if you can sign up for their newsletter, sometimes they have small offers there. Or if you're over 65 or have a Blue Light card, those might work directly with certain insurers.

Anyone know if they cover terminal illness? My sister needs to travel but it's a really sensitive situation.

R Richard 4 days ago
They do, yes. I remember seeing 'terminal illness travel insurance' listed on their site as one of the things they cover.

M Matt Rodriguez 4 days ago
My friend had a similar situation, and they found policies through this site. You just have to declare it fully during the quote process.

Thinking of using them for my elderly parents. Is there an age limit for getting cover? They're both in their late 70s.

A Abigail Lewis 3 weeks ago
Nah, they specialise in over 50s, over 65s, etc. My grandad is 82 and gets his insurance through them. No real age cap I think.

They have specific sections for over 70s and 80s travel insurance, so your parents should be fine.

I'm looking at a cruise next year, and also going skiing in Feb. Can I get one policy that covers both or will I need separate ones?

T Thomas Robinson 3 weeks ago
You should be able to get a multi-trip policy and add on both winter sports and cruise cover to that. That's what I did for my trips last year.

T Thomas Lewis 3 weeks ago
Yeah, pretty sure you can customize policies for both those things. Just make sure you tick all the right boxes when you're getting the quote.
